IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This 20 hours Online Course and 10 hours In-car lessons is MTO approved program. It is designed as a replacement for an actual In-Class portion of your BDE ( Basic Driver Education ) program. The purpose of this program is to provide you with the knowledge skills, and attitudes needed to drive your vehicle safely.
Our program is highly interactive. A lot of time and effort has been spent to provide participants with multiple levels of interaction. Practice activities are integrated into the course as a method for reinforcing the material and improving retention. A lot of scenario based questions and activities are included in the course.
The following are requirements for all students to fulfill in order to receive a certificate of course completion and qualify for an insurance discount and an early road test in 8 months instead of 12 months.
- 100% attendance for all sessions
- Student must obtain an 80% grade average (both In-Car and Online portion )
- Course must be completed within 12 months
You are required to provide a front and back copy of your Ontario Drivers License before you begin In-Car lessons.
Upon completion of the Online portion , you will be contacted by the Instructor to setup In-car lessons.
Please contact our office if you have any concerns or questions. If you are unable to make your In-car lessons as scheduled, a 24hour notice of cancellation / rescheduling is required. Failing to show up or cancel within 24hours will result in a $50.00 charge, which must be paid before any following lessons.
The instructor will pick up and drop off each student so it is imperative you are on time, your instructor will not wait for you and no show charge will be applied.
You can arrange to use the vehicle for the road test once you’ve completed your driving lessons. This is not included in the course cost and is an additional cost (please see our Packages page ).
No refunds will be given for students who do not pass a driving test. Failure to complete the course within 12 months or meet above requirements.
No certificate will be issued and the course must be started again (at full course price) from the beginning, as regulated by the MTO.
Upon successful completion of the course your certificate can be retrieved IN PERSON at any SERVICE ONTARIO location by requesting your DRIVERS LICENCE HISTORY.
